Solo anglers Mick Hudson, Marcello Bo and Matt O’Brien recently returned from an our scheduled New Caledonia GT popping trip in late June, where they fished from Nekweta Lodge with guide Manu for 4 days. Check out the reports, photos and videos from the trip below.

“Hi David, the trip to New Caledonia was amazing. Manu is a great guide and a great bloke, who worked really hard on some tough weather days to find us fish, and some great fish at that (the first GT really hurt)! Matt and Marcello are good guys and we got along really well. We were only half way through the first day and we all agreed that we should make this an annual trip! The hospitality from Manu and Stephanie was first class at Nekweta. Stephanie’s cooking is superb and I loved the style of accomodation. I can’t say enough about how great the trip was, I will definately be going back. I just hope the secret doesn’t get out otherwise it will be hard to get a spot on another trip!”
