Tuesday morning at the office saw David and myself listening eagerly to Anthony and fellow angler Tony recount their trip to Rompin last week. Each boat averaged upwards of 10 sails per day, with countless fish lost each day and even a few double hook ups. Slow trolling live baits proved to be the most successful method, with practically every bait resulting in a strike!

Not bad considering we’re still 2-3 months off peak season! The fishing should prove to be nothing short of incredible for our Bluewater Readers trip and Ocean Blue scheduled trip, both in early September.
