Day three started off at the bait grounds warming up for what was to be another fantastic day’s fishing. After the bait wells were full, we headed out to the sailfish bank. As the birds were relatively high we knew the sails were sitting down deep, not on the surface like previous days. Subsequently, we decided to slow troll live baits and within 3 minutes of deploying the first we were on! This was the start of what was to be a great day.

We experienced consistant action, a number of double hook-ups and our boat ended the day with a tally of 13 sails landed. We lost count of the number of fish lost but we all had a fantastic day on the water.
